Commencement

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Delaware postponed the 2020 Commencement ceremony, originally scheduled on Saturday, May 30, in Delaware Stadium. The University celebrated the Class of 2020 virtually through its Blue Hen Celebration.

Please save the dates of June 2-4, 2021, when we tentatively plan to hold Commencement and Convocation activities for the Class of 2020 immediately preceding Alumni Weekend, pending resolution of the pandemic situation. The University of Delaware’s Commencement celebrates the graduation of all degree recipients at the University.

The Commencement 2020 ceremony, originally scheduled for May 30, 2020, was postponed in light of the coronavirus pandemic. Please save the dates of June 2-4, 2021, when we tentatively plan to hold Commencement and Convocation activities for the Class of 2020, pending resolution of the pandemic situation.

The Commencement 2021 ceremony is currently scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2021. Please save the dates of May 27-29, 2021 for Commencement and Convocation activities. Additional information will be made available in early 2021.
